Five vehicles and a semi were involved in a crash Monday morning.
It happened on southbound I-69 near Boonville New Harmony Road.
Six people were injured.
None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
The preliminary investigation indicates that as vehicles entered a construction area, a tractor-trailer couldn’t stop and rear-ended another vehicle, causing a chain reaction.
The driver of the semi reported that he possibly experienced brake problems with the vehicle.
Alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the crash.
