Organizers of Fiesta Evansville announced that this year’s festival is canceled.
They say the cancellation is due to many people experiencing fear and uncertainty following recent events that have affected Latino families, such as ICE raids.
Organizers remain hopeful that better days are ahead.
Back in 2024, around 8,000 people attended the festival.
