He is Grayson Walton’s step-grandfather.
19-year-old Elijah Mayes faces several charges in the case, including murder.
The father told police that his child was supposed to be in Mayes care while he was at work.
Grayson was found deceased inside a home in Cleaton.
Funeral services were held yesterday for the 11-month-old.
