Wesselman Woods invites families, folktale lovers,
and woodland adventurers to step beyond the ordinary into Woodland
Wonders, a fall celebration and fundraiser that unites the magic of fantasy
and storytelling with the beauty of nature. The festival unfolds Saturday,
September 19, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Odonata Hill and the Welborn Baptist
Foundation Nature Playscape.
Woodland Wonders is rooted in the belief that a love of fantasy can grow into
a love for the natural world. Inspired by legends and beloved fantasy realms,
Woodland Wonders draws from sources like Lord of the Rings, Redwall,
Everdell, The Wind in the Willows, and Over the Garden Wall, WW is inviting
guests of all ages to discover the wonder in every fallen leaf, mossy log, and
rustling branch.
