There has been an arrest in connection with a shooting that happened earlier this week.
Jermontae Boyd has been charged with attempted murder.
Monday night, officers were dispatched to the area of 700 North Garvin Street after a report of more than 10 gunshots was heard.
When police arrived on scene, they found two victims, one who had been shot in the hip and the other in the chest.
It was later discovered that one of the victims had issues with Boyd.
During a search of his home, officers found various narcotics, an ID card, birth certificates, a handgun, and several cellphones.
Boyd denied any knowledge of the shooting.
