On July 1, the Bell to Bell law will take effect in Indiana.
Starting with the new school year in August, EVSC policy states devices must be powered off, stored away, and out of reach to students throughout the school day.
This will apply to all personal electronic devices, including cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, and any other electronic device that can connect to the internet or send messages.
The primary change from EVSC’s current practice is that devices will no longer be allowed during lunch or passing periods.
