An Evansville couple is facing neglect charges.
This was after deputies attempted to locate a felony warrant suspect at a home on West Missouri Street.
The suspect’s sister, Kayla Gibson, answered the door and told deputies the suspect no longer lived there.
During a search of the home, deputies say every surface was covered with trash.
Due to the filthy living conditions, the children were removed.
Jeffery Gibson is facing assault charges after he threw a phone at his wife, hitting her in the side.
