The Henderson County Public Library will unveil its first official StoryWalk today at Atkinson Park.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will start at 4:00 PM.
StoryWalks originated in Vermont in 2007 as an initiative to promote early literacy, physical activity, and family engagement.
Since their inception, StoryWalks have spread nationwide.
These installations bring books into outdoor environments, allowing stories to be experienced interactively.
The library encourages families to fall in love with reading in a whole new way.
