Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear shared the sad news of a 68-year-old man in Daviess County who died of a heart attack while shoveling snow.
This was mentioned while giving an update on the state’s response to the severe winter storm that hit the Tri-State.
The state is reporting at least 9 other storm-related deaths, ranging in age from 48 to 79.
Their families will receive support from the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund to help pay for funeral costs.
Around 2,500 customers are without water, with over 11,000 customers on boil advisories.
