One person has been arrested in an animal neglect case.
The investigation began last July after neighbors spoke with EPD.
The home, located on Delaware Street, was where suspects Jon Nagle and Amanda Nagle lived.
Neighbors told police they had not seen either one of them in about four days.
Police say the dog did not have food or water and appeared to have open wounds on its ears.
Tuesday morning, Jon Nagle was arrested and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail, and has since bonded out.
He is due back in court on Thursday on an animal cruelty charge.
Amanda Nagle has not yet been arrested.
