$15,000 was given to Princeton Community High School, all thanks to Skechers and the nonprofit Adopt-A-Classroom.
This was in honor of its Olympic gold medal-winning WNBA champion Jackie Young.
The money will be divided up with $5,000 going towards athletic programs, and $10,000 for academic programs.
School leaders say they’ll be putting some of that money into their Renaissance program, which works to improve the culture of the school.
Students were gifted Skechers bags and hats.
