A jail officer with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department was arrested after he fled and then crashed following a traffic stop.
According to police records, Officers saw an orange Dodge Charger speeding alongside a Mustang on Highway 41 near Columbia Street.
The Charger was making aggressive lane changes while traveling at an estimated 100 miles per hour.
The Charger crashed in a parking lot at Highway 41 and State Road 57.
20-year-old Hezekiah Fils-Aime has been placed on administrative leave pending further review.
