The new hybrid displaced left turn is now open at the intersection of Stockwell Road and the Lloyd Expressway.
This intersection is similar to the one at Epworth and the Lloyd, but has one key difference.
Those traveling westbound on the Lloyd, hoping to turn left and head south on Stockwell, will need to utilize a boulevard left turn.
That means drivers will pass the intersection and make a U-turn at the designated spot, marked by signs and a traffic light.
Those heading eastbound on the Lloyd, turning left onto northbound Stockwell, will make a traditional displaced left turn, stopping at the light before crossing traffic and entering the new left turn lane.
The next phase of the Lloyd4U project on the east side is at the intersection of Cross Point Boulevard and Burkhardt Road.
