Two people are facing neglect charges after refusing to pick up their teen from the hospital.
A social worker contacted police after attempts were made to 41-year-old Jeffrey Scheda and 36-year-old Amanda Osmon.
The 13-year-old had been admitted to the hospital for a mental health check after a fight with Osmon.
The social worker told police that Osmon cussed them out and told her “I’m not dealing with this tonight”.
When officers went to their home, they both admitted to drinking and passing out.
They were booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
