A Virginia man is resting inside the Gibson County Jail while facing charges.
Earlier this week a deputy responded to a breaking and entering in progress at a home in Haubstadt.
Once on scene, he met with a witness who stated they were in charge of checking on the residence and found a man asleep inside the house.
The deputy located 38-year-old Paul McCarvell asleep in a chair.
He was taken to jail and charged with residential entry and criminal mischief.
