Former Evansville police chief Billy Bolin is set to be sworn in as Henderson’s new police chief.
Bolin says he’s passed his Peace Officer Professional Standards certification and will assume the office early in July.
Bolin was set in line for the job last March after Chief Shawn McKinney resigned.
Bolin served on the Evansville Police Department for 26 years, 12 of them as chief.
