An employee of the Vanderburgh County Jail has been arrested and charged with sexual misconduct with an inmate.
The sheriff’s office says Catherine Sowders worked in the jail kitchen, where she admitted to having a sexual relationship with Robert Young.
Sowders admitted to the relationship and to bringing contraband to Young.
Sowders was booked into the jail without bond.
