There’s now been a third arrest concerning a New Year’s Day murder.
35-year-old Jahray Garrett is in jail and charged with attempted murder.
Jerry Hale was shot dead near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Governor Street on January 1.
Garrett reportedly went up to Hale’s body and searched his pockets, then demanded to the man with him to give him the gun.
Garret then allegedly fired eight rounds toward a car and some people nearby.
Christopher Boyd is charged with Hale’s murder.
Both are being held without bond.
