The Evansville Police Department is looking for the owners of a home in the 600 block of Gum Street.
Earlier this week, four dogs were found severely malnourished and dehydrated in a pen.
Two other dogs were found deceased.
Reports say there was no food or clean water.
Hundreds of flies were inside the home.
The surviving dogs are now in the care of animal control.
No arrests have been made at this time.
