Evansville police responded to the 1600 block of Fares Saturday morning on a report of a man with a gun.
Arriving officers spoke to the victim who said when his girlfriend who left for food didn’t come back, he found her in the offender’s room.
The offender, Rondre Cook, came out of the room and got into an argument with the victim, during which he flashed a gun and made a threat.
Police surrounded the residence, but Cook wouldn’t come out.
When he finally did, he was arrested for intimidation and firearm possession.
