An Evansville basketball coach has been arrested for forgery.
John Holland III was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and has since been released.
Holland used to be the coach of a boys basketball travel team, The Evansville Sharks.
Evansville Financial Crimes detectives were investigating Holland on the basis of claims from parents after funds were raised by team members in a laundry soap fundraiser.
Holland never sent in the money raised, so the product never came.
One mother, Lauren Cardwell, claims Holland forged emails, pretending to be the owner of the company.
