The public got to meet three new police K-9 teams on Tuesday.
The handlers and their doggie partners are just finishing up an extensive 10 week training course before they hit the bricks for real.
Two of the new teams are joining the Evansville police department, while the third joins the Warrick County Sheriff’s Department.
The dogs and their handlers trained together on obedience, agility, evidence search and other skills.
