Indiana State Police held their annual awards ceremony in Indianapolis yesterday.
Two Troopers from Evansville were each presented with an award.
Tanner Hurley was the recipient of the 2022 Trooper of the District Award.
He has arrested 120 criminal defendants on 207 criminal charges with 54 of those being felonies, and has removed over 1,600 impaired drivers from Indiana highways.
Senior Trooper Ross Rafferty assisted in a extrication and medical support of a woman that had overdosed in a crawlspace of a home.
He was the recipient of a Lifesaving Award.
