An Evansville murder case has ended in a mistrial.
Brandon Artis was standing trial in the murder of Trey McGillicudy on Ravenswood Drive last August.
Police contend McGillicudy sold marijuana to Artis.
The prosecution contends that Artis shot McGillicudy and stole bags of weed and thousands of dollars in cash.
The trial had just gotten under way and was declared a mistrial because of inappropriate conduct with the jury.
The new trial will be on March 6.
