Grandmother’s Trial Date Set For Later This Year

A jury trial date has been set for Amber Opperman.

She’s facing a charge of neglect of a dependent causing death.

Opperman is the grandmother of Kamari Opperman, who died in October of 2021.

The 3-year old got access to fentanyl pills, though not in Amber’s home.

The child was reportedly not taken to the hospital.

Amber Opperman is one of six people charged in Kamari Opperman’s death, and other charges concerning the fentanyl.

Pre-trial and jury trial conferences are set for December 14 and January 9.
