The Green River Area Development District (GRADD) in Kentucky is urgently looking for long-term care volunteers.
They will receive training through the Ombudsmen Program.
Certified volunteers are needed because, too often nursing home residents do not have regular visitors.
This can cause depression and illness.
Going through the ombudsmen program will provide training on how to become an advocate, so you can speak for them, when they can’t.
