The West Side Nut Club, held it’s annual Founder’s Day Banquet last evening at Burdette Park.
This group was founded in 1921 by west side businessmen.
In one hundred years, over $8 million dollars has been given to mostly non-profit groups.
Nearly $600,000 was handed out with proceeds from last year’s Fall Festival.
Youth First was given $20,000 and the top prize was given to Reitz and Mater Dei High Schools, each receiving $27,000.
