More information has been released in the death of three month old Silas Scott.
His parents 23 year old Caylin Monroe and 22 year old Jakob Scott were arrested in Warrick County on Tuesday, charged with murder and neglect.
The Department of Child Services recently investigated the mother because of an incident with another child.
She had to keep a feeding log after that.
Officials say that Monroe admitted to skipping feedings, and would forget about the baby if he was quiet.
The father told detectives the baby didn’t eat if he didn’t cry.
The autopsy shows there was nothing in his stomach.
The baby died from starvation.
Monroe has a status hearing on May 9 to set her trial date.
Scott’s trial is set for October 18.
