The fire is out after several fire departments were called to a house on Maple Lane in Evansville.
A neighbor called 911 after 3 this morning to report seeing flames.
Officials say, most of the damage appeared to be on the second floor.
Two dogs were rescued, but a couple of the family’s cats didn’t make it
Fire departments from German, Perry, Scott and Ohio County were called to help McCutchanville crews.
The family that live there is out of town for a school band trip.
