Around 12:30 this morning Evansville fire crews responded to a fire at 1821 Buchanan Road on the city’s west side.
Firemen found a detached garage fully involved upon arrival.
The house was exposed and some of the siding on the main house started to melt.
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the main house.
According to the homeowner there were guns and ammunition inside the garage.
No one was injured.
