Evansville police were sent to the 700 block of Cherry Street Saturday morning.
There, they found that a person had been stabbed.
The victim, a man, was treated at the scene by police and AMR before he was taken to the hospital.
A woman was taken into custody on the scene and was later taken to police headquarters for questioning.
