Dakota Hammers was sentenced to six years probation after the death of her 7 week old daughter.
She signed a safety plan agreeing not to sleep in close proximity of a child and to stop using marijuana.
The mother was originally charged with neglect of a dependent causing death back in August of 2020.
Hammers woke up with the baby underneath her body not breathing.
She admitted to police that she had smoked marijuana before the incident.
