Madisonville police say a woman was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after shooting her husband.
Officers were sent to a home on Harrig Street on a report of a violent domestic disturbance.
There, they found 61 year old Benigno Feliciano who had been shot.
He was taken to an out-of-state hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Police arrested 54 year old Ravan Hamlett, described as the victim’s wife and charged her with assault.
Amendments to that original charge will come later.
