Authorities are looking for a suspect after a shooting at an Owensboro hotel.
Troopers say they came, along with OPD, to Wingfield Inn and Suites because of a tip about a stolen car.
They say while searching for 41-year-old Sandy “Slim” Thompson on the hotel’s second floor,
Thompson pulled out a gun.
They say an officer fired at him, but Thompson jumped out of the window.
Troopers say he is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information should let authorities know.
Troopers say he is seen on surveillance running from the scene.
