Evansville firefighters ay a house fire plus efforts to put it out have rendered he home uninhabitable.
The fire, in the 800 block of East Iowa Street spread quickly through the upstairs but was darkened down fairly quickly.
It was water damage from the effort that made the house unsuitable for habitation.
One person was taken into custody, and was interviewed by police, but we’re unaware of any charges being filed.
The Red Cross is helping hose people displaced by the fire.
