Evansville police want to know why a man fired a gun outside a hotel.
It happened around 1:30 this morning at the Econo Lodge at Diamond and Highway 41.
Police say they’re looking into what might have caused the man to fire the weapon.
They say he surrendered himself up and was detained for questioning.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
