It was a rough Tuesday morning for TriState motorists as overnight snow and ice made the morning commute tricky for many.
This morning, about 2am, came word from Illinois of a three-semi accident on Eastbound I-64 about 13 miles from the Indiana line.
One truck jack-knifed and overturned before it was struck by to others.
Two drivers were hospitalized.
Later on I-64 Westbound came an accident involving yet another semi and a box truck… a bit earlier, US 60 at the Union – Henderson County line was shut down for some time because of accident involving extraction.
In addition, an EVSC school bus slid off St. Joe Road at Number 6 School Road.
There were students aboard but no one was hurt.
