Henderson Area Rapid Transit is making some additional alterations in routes starting Monday, November 23. A release from the city said the decision was made because “ridership has remained low during the months of pandemic when our citizens have been asked to achieve ‘social distancing.'”
On Monday, HART Transit will begin operating at 6:30 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The last routes will leave the transfer point at 4:30 p.m. In addition, HART will halt the 6 a.m. Weaverton and Eastgate routes.
In an effort to protect passengers and employees, HART also will limit trips to essential ones only, including transportation to work, grocery/errands and medical appointments.
This new schedule is subject to change. HART thanks riders for their flexibility and asks riders to take every measure to maintain “social distancing.”
