The COVID Death toll in Vanderburgh county has now hit 100.
The county has experienced 500 new cases of the corona virus in just the last three days.
Not quite half of those cases have been reported in people between the ages of 20 and 39.
That’s affecting local businesses, including Deers Head Sidewalk Cafe and Bar, who, after one employee tested positive, has temporarily shuttered.
All the employees are being tested. Under Governor Holcomb’s new executive order, restaurants and other businesses will have to enforce the mask mandate and social distancing.
