Evansville Police say a contractor who shot a man Friday while he as at work will not be charged.
Detectives say their investigation shows the contractor as acting in self defense.
He was working for Land Bank and was inspecting a house that was about to be demolished when he was attacked by another man.
The man who was shot hasn’t been identified, and he is being treated in an Indianapolis hospital.
