The Vanderburgh County Humane Society says now it’s OK to come in and visit the furry babies.
That’s especially true since the shelter has about 260 cats and kittens — or about 10 times the number of dogs.
They say now that people are out and about more, they are finding more and more litters, and at about the same time.
Visitors must wear masks inside the facility and are asked to limit the number of guests per household.
