The City of Henderson broke ground Tuesday afternoon, officially starting construction on a new firehouse.
The state-of-the-art structure will replace the city’s aging central station.
The 20,000 square foot building is designed to meet the present and future needs of the city.
Fire department leaders expect the new facility to open by the start of 2027.
