In January the Posey County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation regarding the sexual abuse of a child.
Following an interview at Holly’s House, it was discovered that a friend of the family had been sexually abusing a 12-year-old.
The abuse allegedly started when the victim was 5.
She stated that 43-year-old Jeremy Wyatt was providing her with THC vapes.
After the abuse stopped, she told authorities that she would have to provide Wyatt with inappropriate photographs to gain the vapes.
Wyatt was arrested yesterday at his home.
He is charged with child molesting and dealing marijuana.
