A man in a northern suburb of Memphis, Tennessee, was shot by his dog.
Officers responded to an accidental injury just before 4 a.m. Monday.
The victim told officers he was lying on his bed with his friend when the victim’s dog jumped on the bed, got its paw stuck in the trigger guard, and ended up hitting the trigger.
The victim was grazed in his left thigh.
His friend left the scene and allegedly took the gun with her.
The victim was then taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
