One person was killed trying to cross a busy roadway Saturday night.
The accident happened at the corner of Diamond Avenue and Stringtown Road.
According to police, two pedestrians were attempting to cross when a truck hit one of them.
The second pedestrian saw the truck coming and stopped before crossing.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The intersection was shut down for about an hour.
The driver of the truck is cooperating.
