An Evansville couple is accused of stealing items from the home of a nursing home resident.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Lohoff Avenue around 4:30 on Wednesday morning.
Officers detained 50-year-old Karen Crowe and 39-year-old Bruce Beckwith as they were leaving the home.
Crowe had a wagon and a bicycle trailer filled with items she allegedly stole from the house.
She told officers that friends told her she could go into the home.
Beckwith admitted to also stealing belongings.
Both suspects are facing burglary and theft charges.
