Century Old Church Destroyed In Fire

Fire crews waged an hours-long battle with a fire at “The Princeton Church.”

Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says the call came in about 2:00 Monday afternoon.

Witnesses said the roof partially collapsed and stained glass windows blew out from the heat.

Fire hose mist froze almost immediately from temperatures in the teens.

The church building is about 130 years old.
