The president of Disciples of Christ Ministries USA is accused of stealing more than half a million dollars from the non-profit ministry.
Board members became concerned when 62-year-old Dallas Majewski started wearing expensive suites and Rolexes and driving a Maserati and Corvette.
Police believe he took at least $576,963 since 2020.
They say he also had other questionable business practices, including at least $367,000 in business loans without board approval.
Disciples of Christ Ministries, USA is a ministry of clean and sober recovery houses in Evansville that operates out of Majewski’s home on Judson Street.
Police say his first name used to be Mark, but his ex-wife says he changed his it to Dallas to hide past criminal history.
Majewski denies any wrongdoing.
He’s charged with 30 counts of theft and has a $100,000 bond.
