A Boonville home was destroyed in a fire on Sunday morning.
Multiple neighboring fire departments were called to the 1300 block of N. 1st Street around 11:30.
The owner had a large collection of guns and ammunition that caused small explosions during the fire.
The homeowner says he’d only been living at the house part-time, so he and his dogs were not home when the fire started.
