Brescia University has a new president.
The school has named Madison Silvert, J.D. to replace current president Father Larry Hostetter who’s retiring in May after 26 years with the university.
Father Hostetter says the challenge will be to make sure their school continues to adapt to the demands of the modern student.
Silvert will begin his role prior to the end of the academic year and work with Hostetter to ensure a smooth transition for students and faculty.
Silvert is a former president of the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation and becomes Brescia’s first layman president.
